About Us

Autolock Ltd was founded in 1973 by Antony Smith. When Autolock first opened its doors, it was as one of the first while you wait exhaust fitting workshops in the area. Due to our interest in automatic transmission, we soon became one of the first specialised transmission workshops in the country and a founder member of “FATE” the Federation of Automatic Transmission Engineers.

Today sees Autolock as a leading specialist in Automatic Car Transmissions, Air Conditioning, Diagnostics and ECU Programming services in the North-West of England covering Cheshire, Staffordshire, Lancashire, Merseyside and North Wales.
